I loved that they worked with Arizona Golden Retriever Rescue by arranging that if customers mentioned it, Paulie's would donate 20% to their great organization during the day of their Dine with the Dogs event, so I made sure I mentioned it! It was good to see the owner present and chatting with some folks, but the waitstaff seemed spread too thin so there were gaps in the service and the table nearest us was impatient with it. The sampler appetizer allows for some nice choices, but the amt. of each was skimpy esp. since the wings were tiny and only had 2 strips of celery and they were out of blue cheese, the toasted ravioli was dry, although the meatballs and sauce were excellent: a fairer price would have been about $15. They make a good thin, almost matzo-like crisp crust pizza which isn't my go-to style, but great for carb conscious folks, and heck, I do what I must to help a great organization. I thought the overall prices were steeper than they should be for Sun City, but it does have better than average atmosphere with Italian flags and pictures of celebrities lining the walls which add to a comfy retro feel. There is also a gurgling fountain inside and although there was no music for awhile, eventually they put on some retro Italian music which was quite charming, and unlike so many restaurants today, the volume was conversation comfortable. There's a pleasant outdoor seating area with a fountain, and some potted trees although there used to be more and I hope they add them back as they were a type of evergreen that looked like those tall and pointy cypresses of the Mediterranean but they didn't water them enough I watched them slowly die which was sad. They always allow dogs on the patio which is nice to see, lending a European air, so during the Retriever event there were more than usual. The dog volunteers explained to me that they don't have an actual shelter, but they utilize a network of fosters to help save Golden Retrievers until they can be placed in a forever home. This particular benefit also provided special funding for those who have retrievers with cancer and need some financial assistance. It's nice when a local business can help a local nonprofit!

The food is soooo great here!!! From drinks to appetizers, dinner and desserts!!! Even the dinner salad is especially delicious! All dressing made in house as well as the dishes crafted with family recipes. Everything I have is a winner!!! Mommy calamari, forget about it lasagna! Pizza on point!!! Cheesecake is so good you really can’t go wrong!!! Portions are great, full bar, and sweet staff. Get ALL your Italian favorites here and take some home for leftovers you’ll be glad you did!!!

Had dinner here a couple of nights ago. The meal was very good. We had chicken parmeasan (excellent), lasagna (good), fettuccine alfredo (good), clam spaghetti (good), and for an appetizer calamari (excellent). The restaurant is small and quaint decorated in an Italian theme. When we visited, the restaurant was busy and pretty noisy inside. All of the staff were friendly and overall we were happy with our meal and service!

I wasn’t sure what to expect as we pulled up to this little hidden gem tucked away in Sun City. From the moment we walked in, the experience exceeded every expectation. The owner himself (though I didn’t know it at the time) opened the door for us and personally walked us to our group. Our server was quick with our drink order, which set the tone for what turned into a phenomenal night. The food? Absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and served in a cozy space brimming with charm. But the real surprise was the entertainment. Hands down, it was one of the most fun nights I’ve had in years. When “Elvis” took the stage, I honestly thought we’d watch one song and head out. Instead, he had the entire room captivated—singing along, doubled over with laughter, and completely swept up in the energy. It wasn’t just a performance—it was an experience. One I couldn’t wait to tell people about. I’ll 100% be back. Who needs Vegas when you’ve got this right here in Sun City?

Little Bit of Italy is more like Big Hidden Italian Gem. The service it above outstanding and people were so welcoming. My husband had the Most flavorful Sauce over Lasagna and I had small portion of Spaghetti Carbonara which I could not finish and had incredible flavors. Aperol Spritz was made with perfect blend which can be rare. The Lemon Drop was had a punch of lemon, I prefer a little more sweetness, but that is my preference. Live music was so fun and Vibe will bring us in like family. We will be back to try the pizza that everyone bragged about. Until next visit Paulie!!

I stopped by this hidden gem in Sun City, Arizona — a cozy, casual café serving up a delicious array of homestyle Italian dishes with a side of live music. On this particular night, the entertainment was so good, I found myself dancing and grooving after dinner! It turned an already great meal into a full-on experience. The food? Comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You’ll often find Paulie himself working hands-on in the kitchen and dining area, making sure guests feel right at home. From the excellent customer service to the homecooked Italian classics, this is a dinner experience worth checking out.
